THE PERSON BEHIND THE PROCESS

A technical eye for the details that matter
Meet Drew Gross

Andrew “Drew” Gross is a licensed home inspector who brings construction knowledge and a practical understanding of property systems to Watchman Inspections. He wants you to feel comfortable asking questions and to leave with a clearer understanding of the property you are considering.

Construction knowledge, with a personal approach

Drew's professional background includes construction, commercial facilities, technical project management and field leadership. Working in complex project environments has taught him the value of being prepared, documenting carefully, communicating clearly and taking responsibility for the work. Safety, quality and practical risk awareness are part of that perspective.

Today, he brings that experience to accessible, visible and applicable property components within the agreed inspection scope and relevant requirements. He explains what he observes in practical language, so you can consider your next steps without having to make sense of technical findings alone. An inspection does not promise to find every defect or predict future performance.

Experience that shapes the way he works

Drew's earlier project and facilities work has included commercial, government and private-sector environments. Those experiences helped him understand how building systems, people, documentation and risk affect one another. They inform his approach today; they are not a claim that Watchman designed, engineered, constructed or inspected a particular named facility.

01

Hospitals and critical infrastructure

Complex operating environments sharpen attention to coordination, safety and conditions that might otherwise be overlooked.

02

Military installations and government work

Structured project environments reinforced field leadership, documentation, quality awareness and the importance of a defined scope.

03

Churches and private-sector facilities

Working around different building uses helps Drew recognize how construction, maintenance and occupants can affect observable conditions.

Faith. Family. Friendship. Integrity.

For Drew Gross, building something meaningful has never been limited to construction projects or commercial properties. It's about people, relationships and the values that stand behind the work.

As a devoted husband and father, Drew understands that the places we build and care for become the backdrop for some of life's most important moments.

His commitment to faith and community is reflected in his involvement with The Prayer Room. Alongside some of his closest friends, Drew serves at the church and is helping build it with his own hands.

It's a labor of faith, friendship and shared purpose. Together, they're building something intended to serve others for years to come.

That same sense of responsibility carries into Watchman Inspections. Drew believes integrity is demonstrated through actions: showing up prepared, doing the work thoroughly, communicating honestly and treating people with respect, even when no one is watching.

Integrity isn't a marketing promise. It's how we do business.

A Gulf Coast perspective

Drew is familiar with Mississippi Gulf Coast residential construction and the conditions that can affect a property here. Humidity, moisture intrusion, salt-air exposure, wind-driven rain, drainage, ventilation, condensation, elevated structures, crawlspaces and aging systems may deserve attention, depending on the property and what can safely be accessed.

Thermal imaging and moisture readings are included in standard residential inspections at no additional charge when appropriate. Used as supplemental tools, they can help identify temperature variations or investigate suspected dampness in accessible materials. They do not see through walls, prove hidden mold or independently establish the cause of an anomaly.

Questions are welcome

Useful findings should come with an explanation you can understand. Drew takes care to distinguish what he can observe from questions that need additional evaluation, while keeping the agreed scope clear. Inspections are not invasive investigations, engineering analyses, code or flood certifications, wind mitigation certifications, or guarantees of safety or future performance.

If you have questions about your property or the right inspection service, call Watchman at (228) 355-7489 or email info@watchmaninspections.com. Scope is established for the property and service requested; air testing is sampling and laboratory analysis, not a comprehensive mold assessment or proof of health or safety.

USEFUL QUESTIONS / CLEAR ANSWERS

Before you decide.
A little more context.

Ask Drew a question
What credentials does Drew hold?

Drew is a licensed home inspector with residential inspection, pool and spa inspection, and air-quality and mold-testing credentials.

Does Drew's facilities background mean Watchman performs engineering?

No. His previous project and facilities experience informs observation, documentation, safety, quality, and risk awareness. Watchman does not present a standard inspection as engineering, code certification, flood or wind certification, or specialized structural testing.

What does an inspection include?

The scope depends on the property, service, applicable requirements, and agreement. Watchman evaluates accessible, visible, and applicable components; unsafe, inaccessible, concealed, or invasive conditions may remain outside scope.

How can I reach Watchman Inspections?
